CHKD's "Children's Marathon"

Is a 26.2-mile, 12-week training program that begins the week of March 17, 2008. The children can complete a log sheet (see attached download) outlining any kind of physical activity they display each week. For example: walk in the park = 1 mile; game of basketball = 1 mile. The final 26th mile will be the 1-mile fun run held during the Run/Walk for the Kids event. Every child who participates in the “marathon” training program and turns in their completed log sheet, will receive a finisher medal at the event for their accomplishments. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE MARATHON.
